“January 6th—MAGAGranny”

A Positive Change Story

Pam Hemphill, Boise ID

I received my nickname, aka "MAGAGranny" from a news radio station in Boise Idaho.  I was on Fox News/Tucker Carlson three times.  Every news station used me to make the government look bad.

I spent two years videotaping right-wing events—including political rallies. One day I saw a live video on Facebook, who turned out to be Ammon Bundy! He was inviting people to a meeting to discuss his new project called "People's Rights."

I went not knowing much about him, [but] his group's project seemed all American. I told him I would be interested, but I never break the law…  He replied “neither do I”.  From that day I attended the meetings and volunteered to videotape their protests.

It wasn’t until Trump announced that the election was stolen that I [came] to believe the government was trying to steal it. However, I wasn’t sure as no evidence had been found yet.

I decided mainly to attend the J6 protest in hopes of videotaping, for it [would] most likely be my only chance to hear Trump speak publicly.

I was arrested for picking and entering the Capital—I received 60 days in prison.

I’m now on a mission to change the J6 narrative, as none of the defendants are taking responsibility for their crimes.

I pleaded guilty because I was guilty! I’m working hard to spread facts instead of propaganda about J6; I have received death threats and a smear campaign against starting on Twitter!

I know now the election was not stolen and Trump is lying to the public about J6. Right now no other J6er is talking responsibly for their actions, but my hope is to get my story out there and get others to realize the Far-Right [is] out to destroy our country!!!

I’m on Twitter @pamhemphill79 and hold a Twitter Space called J6 Gaslighting/#stopthespin.

I want the Nation to know I’m not a victim of the government, I was treated well by FBI and DOJ. I’m just saying it’s no one’s fault but my own that day!

Three Capitol Police officers saved my life that day, I hope someday to “Thank them”

God Bless the Capitol Police!
